Job summary

AGI is seeking a Painter for our Marshall, IL manufacturing floor. The role involves performing final parts operations including washing, painting, deburring, and dipping parts into anti-rust solutions.

This on-site position offers an hourly wage and opportunities to contribute to a global food infrastructure leader. Responsibilities include setting up and operating painting equipment, monitoring paint flow and coating quality, and preparing products for painting.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or equivalent.
• One to two years related experience preferred.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Microsoft Office experience.

Responsibilities

• Observe machine gauges and equipment operation to detect defects or deviations from standards, and make adjustments as necessary.
• Wash & prepare product before the painting process. Preparation may include, Sand blasting,
• Determine paint flow, viscosity, and coating quality by performing visual inspections, or by using
• Select appropriate coatings, paints, or sprays, or prepare them by mixing substances according to
• Set up and operate machines to paint or coat products with such materials as paint, epoxy, rust
• Turn dials, hand wheels, valves, or switches to regulate air pressure and circulation, and the flow or
• Clean machines, related equipment, and work areas, using water, solvents and other cleaning aids.
• Attach hoses or nozzles to machines, using wrenches and make adjustments to obtain the proper
• Place items or products on feed racks, spindles, or reel strands to coat, paint, or spray them, using hands, hoists, or truck lifts.
• Mark and/or tag material with proper job number, piece marks, and other identifying marks as required.

Although base salary for this position falls within the above posted range, final compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity.
