Lavonia, GA: Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a Painter specializing in applying durable industrial water-based coatings to metal doors and frames using spray systems. This role is responsible for surface preparation, coating application, and equipment maintenance to ensure a high-quality finished product that meets industrial standards. Pay rate is $17–18/hr.

Essential Duties

• Prepare metal doors and frames for painting by cleaning, sanding, and removing debris or imperfections
• Apply industrial water-based paint and coatings using spray systems
• Ensure coated surfaces meet quality standards for appearance, durability, and rust resistance
• Inspect finished products for consistency, coverage, and defects
• Maintain, clean, and troubleshoot spray equipment and other painting tools
• Follow safety procedures and proper handling guidelines for paints, coatings, and equipment
• Keep work areas organized and free from hazards

Requirements/Skills

• Experience with industrial painting or spray application preferred
• Knowledge of surface preparation techniques including cleaning and sanding
