GPJ is hiring a Painter to join our growing team. This role is on-site, requiring reporting to our Las Vegas, NV office a minimum of 5 days per week.

Your Role

You will apply finishes using HVLP, airless, and other spray equipment in a fast-paced production environment. Your main responsibility is to meet production goals while ensuring high-quality finishes.

You should have extensive knowledge of product technical data, application techniques, chemical compositions, hazard recognition, and a strong background in color theory, especially in creating and matching custom colors. Knowledge of substrates used by our fabrication teams and proficiency in preparing surfaces, applying primers, and troubleshooting spray equipment are essential. Maintaining quality standards and avoiding rework due to defects are critical aspects of your role.

Your Skills

• Thorough knowledge of quality standards and ability to assess properties before release.
• Ability to perform minor touch-ups on the production floor and in the paint shop.
• Skilled in wet sanding and buffing to correct blemishes and achieve a polished look.
• Ability to identify and anticipate finish defects during various stages of finishing.
