SUMMARY: Under general supervision from the General Maintenance Manager, leads planning efforts for waterproofing and painting projects. Inspects buildings and documents interior and exterior finish coating repair requirements.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Plans work; estimates job costs, and selects materials.Surveys buildings to determine repairs needed and develops schedules for completion.Applies paints, sealers, solvents, varnishes and stains to exterior and interior building surfaces such as plaster, sheetrock, concrete, furniture, and wood.Operates equipment such as airless spray equipment, scaffolding, and motorized lifts.Cleans and maintains brushes, rollers, spray units, and hand tools.Performs building exterior and interior caulking, finish repair, mud and tape, and texturing tasks.Follows all applicable local, state and federal codes and statutes in the field.
