Job summary

Tradesmen International is actively seeking Journeyman Painters for projects in the Green Township, OH area. This first shift role offers pay up to $28/hour based on experience, with a focus on safety and craftsmanship.

Responsibilities include interior and exterior commercial painting, surface prep, coatings application, and following blueprints and schedules. Must have 3+ years of experience and PPE for jobsite tasks.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of commercial painting experience, preferably in new construction.
• Experience with interior and exterior commercial painting.
• Knowledge of surface preparation, primers, paints, coatings and finishing techniques.
• Ability to operate paint sprayers, rollers, brushes and other painting equipment.
• Must have basic hand tools required for painting and PPE.

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Journeyman Painters for projects located in the Green Township, OH area This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is up to $28/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:

• Perform interior and exterior painting on commercial construction projects
• Prepare surfaces by sanding, scraping, patching, caulking, and priming
• Apply paint, stains, primers, and protective coatings using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment
• Paint walls, ceilings, doors, frames, trim, and other building surfaces
• Perform drywall touch-ups and minor surface repairs as needed
• Read and follow blueprints, project specifications, and paint schedules
• Mix and match paint colors and finishes as required
• Apply multiple coats to achieve proper coverage and finish
• Protect floors, fixtures, windows, and surrounding surfaces during painting
• Operate ladders, scaffolding, and lifts safely
• Maintain painting equipment, tools, and materials
• Keep work areas clean and organized
• Follow all OSHA regulations and jobsite safety procedures

Requirements

• Minimum of 3+ years of commercial painting experience, preferably in new construction

• Ability to operate paint sprayers, rollers, brushes, and other painting equipment
• Must have basic hand tools required for painting
• Must have required personal protective equipment (PPE), including hard hat, safety glasses, work gloves, high-visibility vest, and appropriate work boots
• Ability to work from ladders, scaffolding, and lifts
