Responsibilities

• Clean, prepare, and inspect surfaces prior to painting.
• Remove existing coatings using sanding, masking, grit blasting, or chemical cleaning methods.
• Mix and prepare paints, coatings, primers, and finishing materials to specification.
• Measure paint characteristics using viscosity cups, thickness gauges, gloss gauges, and other testing equipment.
• Apply primers, intermediate coatings, and finish coats using spray guns, rollers, brushes, stencils, and other application methods.
• Perform wet painting using conventional and air-assisted spray equipment.
• Follow quality standards to ensure proper coverage, appearance, and coating thickness.
• Clean and maintain painting equipment and tools.
• Safely handle, store, and dispose of paints, solvents, and hazardous materials.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety procedures.

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Industrial Painters for projects located in or around Orlando, FL. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $25/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope

• Clean, prepare, and inspect surfaces prior to painting

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience mixing colors and matching finishes


• Industry-specific training or certifications


• Experience applying industrial coatings in commercial, manufacturing, or heavy industrial environments


• Knowledge of coating thickness requirements and quality control procedures
