Job description

Czarnowski is one of the four studios of the Czarnowski Collective. It combines operations, strategy, design, and fabrication to create exhibits and events that engage communities, generate brand enthusiasm, and educate consumers. It’s been over 75 years since we opened our doors, but we’re still not resting on our reputation or accolades. We’re wondering “what if...” anticipating what’s next and embracing our role within the Czarnowski Collective as forward-thinkers for forward-thinking brands.

Joining the Czarnowski Collective means the opportunity to be more than a number, more than a job title, more than a spectator. We are a collective of dreamers and thinkers, doers, and makers…and we’re searching for more of the same to join the ranks.

The Purpose:

We’re looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Painter to join our fabrication team in Denver. You’ll be responsible for applying various finishes to custom-built structures, components, and scenic elements used in marketing events, exhibits, and branded environments. You’ll work with materials ranging from wood and metal to plastics and composites, helping bring bold designs to life with precision and creativity. We’re fast-paced, detail-driven, and always building something new.

The Job:
  • Prepare and paint exhibit components (wood, metal, plastics, etc.).
  • Mix and apply paints, stains, and custom finishes.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet project specifications and timelines.
  • Perform touch-ups and on-site finishing work as needed.
  • Follow safety procedures and material handling protocols.
The Person:
  • 2+ years of painting experience in scenic, exhibit, or commercial environments
  • Proficient with spray equipment and other painting tools
  • Strong eye for color and finish details
  • Physically able to lift materials and stand for extended periods
  • Ability to read design references and meet visual quality standards
  • Team-oriented with good communication skills
  • Must be able to work 6:00am-4:30pm Monday-Friday
