ServiceMaster Residential Co. is seeking a skilled Painter to perform residential or commercial painting as the final step in restoration projects.

The role involves scaffolding setup, surface prep, masking, priming, and applying paints or finishes to meet job specs while maintaining supplies and adhering to safety rules. The position offers a starting wage of $22.00 per hour, with weekly pay, PTO accrual, holiday pay, and a company vehicle provided.

Qualifications

• Experience with residential or commercial painting tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assemble scaffolding as required.
• Mask and protect trim, floors, furniture and surfaces.
• Prepare surfaces by washing, filling holes, sanding.
• Apply primer and sealers for paint adhesion.
• Mix paints and finishes to specifications.
• Apply paint, stain, or finishes with brushes, rollers or sprayers.
• Maintain inventory of brushes, rollers, tarps and supplies.
• Clean equipment and work areas after use.
• Review and execute work orders and assignments.
• Remove and reinstall fixtures as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The duties of aPainter is being responsible for providing residential or commercial repairs in a timely manner. Our line of work is the final piece of the restoration process after a property has been affected by some disaster. All paint, supplies, equipment, vehicle, and project direction is company provided. The duties of a Painter may also be responsible for installing walls, flooring, ceilings, trim, finish work, with a main focus on painting. • Assembling scaffolding as required
• Covering trim, floors, furniture and other surfaces with masking tape, drop cloths and other protective coverings to keep them free of paint
• Preparing surfaces to be painted by washing them, filling holes and cracks with putty and sanding them until they’re smooth
• Applying primer and other sealers to paint surfaces to ensure that paint sticks to them
• Mixing and matching paint, stain and other finishes to job specifications
• Applying paint, stain and other finishes to paint surfaces using paintbrushes, rollers or sprayers
• Maintaining an inventory of supplies like paint brushes, rollers and tarps
• Cleaning machines, equipment and work areas using water, solvents and other cleaning aids
• Reviewing and implementing work orders and assignments
• Removing and reinstalling fixtures (e.g., doorknobs, electric switch covers) as necessary
• Following safeguards, rules and regulations

• Schedule: Monday - Thursday 7am-5pm.
• Friday work could be scheduled due to customer need and demand.
• OT pay will generate of any hours over 40, at time and a half
