6AM City, LLC is seeking a skilled Painter to join our team for professional interior painting in light commercial settings. You will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint with brushes and rollers, and ensuring quality and customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has experience in residential and/or commercial painting, strong communication skills, and reliable transportation to travel between sites. A positive attitude and commitment to a job well done are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in residential or commercial painting and/or remodeling/home repair.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to commute between job sites.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift and carry 20 lbs of equipment.

Responsibilities

• Paint using a proper applicator (brush, roller, etc.) while utilizing proper painting techniques.
• Interact professionally with customers, evaluating requests, pricing projects, troubleshooting issues, and describing work orders as needed.
• Identify proper materials and quantities for new and existing projects.
• Prepare surfaces for painting by washing, scraping, sanding, or by other means necessary.
• Mix, match, and blend various paints, enamels, lacquers, varnishes, stains, and special protective coatings to achieve the desired color, consistency, and drying properties.
• Use caulk, putty, cement, or plaster to repair holes and cracks.
• Inspect paint jobs for quality.
• Perform daily maintenance routines on painting equipment.
