Position Overview

As a Painter, you will prepare and apply paint and finishes to all types of exterior and interior surfaces in accordance with applicable techniques and procedures. You will work in compliance with governmental regulations and safety requirements.

• Earn $24.00 per hour
• Full Time, 1st shift (Monday through Friday, 5 am - 1:30 pm)
• 47 Old Ferry Road, Brattleboro VT 05301

You will contribute by:

• Preparing all types of interior surfaces for painting and finish coats. Selecting pre‑mixed paints and matching specified colors and finishes. Painting and finishing all interior surfaces with paint sprayers, rollers, and brushes.
• Recommending painting techniques and applications, taping drywall, and preparing surfaces with patching compounds and textures. Utilizing correct procedures and techniques in the repair and finish of surfaces.
• Responsible for proper storage of materials, including hazardous waste. Using and storing toxic and flammable materials in accordance with safety regulations to ensure no employee exposure to unsafe conditions.
• Performing other job-related duties as assigned.
