Job summary

TruBlue Home Service Ally is seeking a dependable painter for residential and light commercial projects. You will perform exterior and interior painting, patching and drywall finishing to a high standard, while delivering professional customer service.

The role requires self-sufficiency, ability to assess estimates, and a willingness to work 8-5 with occasional weekends for commercial clients. Part-time with potential to move to full-time.

Qualifications

• Experience in residential or commercial painting, including patching and finishing drywall to a level 5 finish.
• Strong communication skills to interact with customers and document work requests.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to travel between job sites.

Responsibilities

• Paint interior and exterior surfaces using brushes and rollers.
• Interact professionally with customers, evaluate requests, price projects, and describe work orders.
• Prepare surfaces by washing, scraping, or sanding as needed.
• Mix, match, and apply paints and finishes to achieve desired color and finish.
• Identify materials and quantities for projects and ensure quality inspection of work.
• Perform daily maintenance on painting equipment.

TruBlue Home Service Ally is looking for a dependable, self sufficient painter who can complete tasks with a high level of professionalism and proficiency for residential and commercial clients. The qualified candidate must be excellent with patching and finishing drywall to achieve a "level 5" finish to not just satisfy customer, but exceed expectations. This position will begin as part time but could develop into full time. Successful applicants should be able to demonstrate their proficiency with pictures of finished work. The successful applicant, again, must be self sufficient and ready to take action on approved estimates. Work hours are 8-5 Monday-Friday, but willingness to work on weekends for commercial clients is sometimes needed.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a residential/commercial Painter to join our team! You will be preparing and performing professional exterior and interior painting jobs in a residential and light commercial setting.

You are an experienced residential and/or commercial painter who’s looking to be part of an energetic and effective team. You believe in a job done right and take pride in delivering a quality service to customers. A positive attitude is a must!

Responsibilities:

Paint using a proper applicator (brush, roller, etc.) while utilizing proper painting techniques

Interact professionally with customers, evaluating requests, pricing projects, troubleshooting issues, and describing work orders as needed

Identify proper materials and quantities for new and existing projects

Prepare surfaces for painting by washing, scraping, sanding, or by other means necessary

Mix, match, and blend various paints, enamels, lacquers, varnishes, stains, and special protective coatings to achieve the desired color, consistency, and drying properties

Use caulk, putty, cement, or plaster to repair holes and cracks

Inspect paint jobs for quality

Perform daily maintenance routines on painting equipment

Qualifications:

Previous experience in residential or commercial painting and/or remodeling/home repair

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to commute between job sites

Strong communication and customer service skills

Ability to lift and carry 20 lbs of equipment
