Job summary

Zapnix LLC seeks a laboratory technician to support paint testing and color development. You will prepare paint panels and samples for testing, operate spectrophotometers and environmental chambers, and maintain precise lab records.

You will monitor tests, report abnormalities, and track color standards, samples, and project deadlines while coordinating with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely updates.

• Work in a paint/materials laboratory supporting paint testing and color development.
• Prepare paint panels and samples for testing.
• Perform testing for color, gloss, adhesion, corrosion, humidity, and paint performance.
• Operate lab equipment such as spectrophotometer, WOM/weathering chamber, corrosion chamber, humidity cabinet, oven, and water immersion tanks.
• Record and maintain test results and laboratory data.
• Monitor tests and report any abnormalities.
• Track color standards, paint samples, project status, and deadlines.
• Communicate with suppliers and internal teams for sample updates and timelines.
• Maintain test records, project trackers, and lab documentation.
