Job summary

Superior Industries is seeking a Paint Technician to prep surfaces for painting, mix and apply finishes, and uphold quality and safety on the shop floor in Morris, MN.

Key duties include preparing metal for painting, masking areas, maintaining paint equipment, and verifying finish quality. You will coordinate workflow, complete paperwork, and keep paint areas clean. This is a day-shift, full-time role with weekly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience painting in a manufacturing setting and a strong eye for finish quality.
• Ability to mix and apply various types of paint and prepare surfaces.
• Commitment to safety and clean, organized work area.

Responsibilities

• Prepare metal for painting by removing rust and oil, and ensuring surface cleanliness.
• Mix and apply paint with correct procedures to production jobs.
• Perform daily maintenance on paint equipment and inspect finished paint for quality.
• Mask areas not to be painted and keep work areas clean, organized.
• Coordinate workflow and complete required paperwork.
