Job summary

flyExclusive is seeking an Aircraft Painter to perform a range of paint applications on corporate jets in a hangar environment. You will mask, prep, mix and apply topcoats while following FAA, AMM and SRM guidelines; ensure quality and safety, and adapt to varying daily tasks.

The role requires 1–3 years of jet painting experience, ability to read drawings, and willingness to work variable shifts. Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 lbs and working outdoors in a heated hangar.

Qualifications

• High School/GED required; 1–3 years corporate jet stripping, sanding, priming, and painting experience.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• FAA Safety-Sensitive role; pre-employment and random drug/alcohol testing per FAA guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Masking aircraft and applying paint systems per specifications.
• Sand primers, prep and scuff paint for trim colors.
• Wash paint booth and maintain workspace; mix and apply topcoats (three coats).
• Read and interpret drawings/renderings; ensure compliance with FAA, AMM and SRM.
• Operate in outdoor hangar environment; follow safety policies; lift up to 50 lbs.

Job duties will vary each day as designated by the Lead or Manager.
