Job summary

Flex-N-Gate is seeking a Paint Engineer to develop and implement tools and processes that improve paint system performance, uptime, quality and cost. You will support PFMEA, control plans, operator instructions, layouts and supplier activities while promoting safety and continuous improvement.

The role requires a four-year degree (engineering/technical preferred), experience with paint systems, and strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in Engineering or Technical field preferred.
• Familiar with automation/robotics for paint systems and Sprayers.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Proficient in problem solving and data analysis.
• Experience with AutoCAD and MS Access is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve paint processes for vehicle production.
• Analyze data to identify root causes and develop corrective actions.
• Supervise robot technicians and paint mixers.
• Support implementation of new processes and equipment.
• Communicate across shifts and departments to share best practices.
