Job summary

Sherwin-Williams is seeking a Store Associate to support our retail stores and assist wholesale and retail customers with product recommendations and solutions. You will help maintain high quality display standards and drive sales while ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include handling transactions, stocking, tinting and mixing products, and occasional deliveries. Strong communication and willingness to work evenings/weekends are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years old.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Lift up to 50 lbs frequently; up to 70 lbs occasionally.
• Willing to work evenings and weekends.
• Internal Sherwin-Williams employee: must have a "meets expectations" rating.
• Internal Sherwin-Williams employee: completed HR Cloud eLearning courses.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
• Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting appropriate products and services.
• Build productive trust relationships with wholesale and retail customers.
• Process sales transactions accurately and consistent with policies and procedures.
• Follow and achieve sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
• Maintain precise work order files and formulas.
• Pull appropriate products from the sales floor or warehouse.
• Tint and mix products, as needed, to customer specifications.
• Stock shelves and set up displays.
• Load/unload delivery trucks.
• Assist in making deliveries, as needed.
• Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options.
• Comply with inventory control procedures.
• Suggest ways to improve sales.
