Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company in Arlington Heights, IL seeks a part-time Store Associate to support our customers and drive sales. You will assist customers in person and over the phone, determine needs, present the right products, and help ensure accurate transactions and attractive displays.

This role emphasizes excellent customer service, meeting sales goals, stocking shelves, tinting and mixing products, and supporting deliveries as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include being at least 18 years old.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
• Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting appropriate products and services.
• Build productive trust relationships with wholesale and retail customers.
• Process sales transactions accurately and consistent with policies and procedures.
• Follow and achieve sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
• Stock shelves and set up displays.
• Tint and mix products, as needed, to customer specifications.
• Load/unload delivery trucks.
• Assist in making deliveries, as needed.
• Maintain in-stock and presentable condition assigned areas.
• Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options.
