Job summary

Dunn-Edwards is seeking a Sales Associate to deliver exceptional customer service to homeowners and professionals in a fast-paced store environment. You will assist customers, provide expert product recommendations, and process transactions at the POS while maintaining inventory and store presentation.

You will learn about coatings, participate in Dunn-Edwards Learning Network, and build partnerships with painting professionals.

Qualifications

• Four years of High School diploma with diploma or GED equivalent, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence; speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.

Responsibilities

• Make connections with customers, ask questions about their project, and offer options and advice.
• Ensure delivery of product meets Dunn-Edwards’ quality and service standards.
• Process customer orders via email, phone, or in-person and complete transactions at POS.
• Maintain clean and stocked store and stock areas; assist with inventory levels.
• Uphold Dunn-Edwards store vision of fast and reliable service.
• Communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
• Adhere to safety standards and perform other duties as assigned.
