Job summary

Sherwin-Williams is seeking a full-time Customer Service Specialist at Store 708256 in San Diego. You will assist customers in person and over the phone, determine needs, and present suitable paint products and services while maintaining store standards.

You will process transactions, stock displays, tint/mix products, and help meet sales goals. Role may require evenings, weekends, and lifting up to 70 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years old.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver’s License.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and 70 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends with or without accommodation.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year of delivery/retail/customer service experience preferred.
• Experience selling paint or paint-related products preferred.
• Experience with tinting and mixing equipment preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in more than one language, especially Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through sales service.
• Assist customers in person and by phone, determine needs, present products.
• Build trust with wholesale and retail customers.
• Process sales transactions accurately and according to policies.
• Meet monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales goals.
• Maintain orderly work files and product formulas.
• Stock shelves and set up displays; pull products from floor/warehouse.
• Tint and mix products to customer specifications.
• Unload/load and deliver products as needed.
• Maintain clean, presentable store area and equipment.
• Remain knowledgeable about products and options available.
• Follow inventory control procedures.
• Suggest improvements to sales processes.
