Oakley, part of EssilorLuxottica, seeks a Paint Process Engineer to optimize painting processes in a high-volume, high-mix environment. You will apply data-driven problem solving and hands-on engineering to improve stability, quality, and productivity.

Responsibilities include root-cause analysis, continuous improvement, and cross-functional collaboration with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Automation, and Tooling teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
• 4+ years of manufacturing process engineering experience, preferably in painting or coating operations.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and structured root cause analysis skills.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver measurable improvements in quality, productivity, and cost.
• Hands-on approach with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsabilités

• Develop, optimize, and sustain painting processes to ensure quality, efficiency, and repeatability.
• Monitor and optimize paint application, viscosity, coating thickness, and curing conditions.
• Provide hands-on technical support to troubleshoot process issues and defects.
• Lead structured root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Drive continuous improvement focusing on scrap reduction, yield, cycle time, and cost.
• Apply Lean Six Sigma and statistical methods to improve process capability and stability.
• Support qualification of new products, materials, equipment, and processes.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Automation, and Tooling teams to implement improvements.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, standard work, and control plans.
• Provide guidance and training to Technicians and production personnel.
• Support tooling/equipment modifications to improve performance.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
