Job summary

Oakley, part of EssilorLuxottica, is seeking a seasoned manufacturing leader to oversee production across multiple departments in our California facility. You will drive safety, quality, and efficiency, manage schedules, and lead a team of hourly and salaried staff to meet KPIs.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of manufacturing experience in high-volume environments, strong coaching and communication skills, and a track record of implementing continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Manufacturing environment.
• Proven track record of training employees in productivity and safety.
• Experience in a high-volume, high-mix, and multiple shift environment.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and evaluate both direct and indirect resources to ensure high productivity levels.
• Oversee a workforce of hourly and salaried employees, in multiple manufacturing departments, and shifts.
• Track and meet daily/weekly/monthly KPIs: Safety Near Miss Reporting, Quality/Scrap, Volume/Productivity, Efficiency and Lead-Time.
• Identifies and presents plans to reduce expenses and increase productivity across all product lines.
• Set ambitious production goals, communicate them to key personnel and influence team to buy into those ambitious goals.
