Job summary

Miller Industries, Inc. is seeking motivated individuals to join our production team in Ooltewah, TN. You will prepare pre-painted towing equipment for finishing, inspect parts, and ensure surface quality before paint.

The role offers a climate controlled environment and a 4-on 4-off work schedule. Opportunities include tuition reimbursement, professional development, and on-site wellness screenings. Employment includes regular evaluations and merit increases, with potential for advancement

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 3–6 months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare pre-painted towing equipment for final paint coat.
  • Inspect parts for finish acceptability and remove items before final paint.
  • Sand and smooth surfaces to eliminate paint defects.
  • Wash unit and dry, mask areas for painting, and reassemble after painting.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Summary:
  • Prepares pre-painted towing equipment for final paint coat.
  • Examines part for acceptability of finish.
  • Removes select parts prior to final paint.
  • Sands and smooths surface of all defects in paint.
  • Washes all dirt and oil off the unit and dries it.
  • Tapes areas on unit for paint.
  • Reinstalls parts on unit after paint.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Day Shift opportunities available Second shift employees receive a $1.50/hr premium (where applicable)
  • 4-on 4-off schedule; off half of the weekends during the year
