Job summary

BWise is seeking an entry-level grinder/operator in Chambersburg, PA to sand and deburr metal surfaces after welding, drill holes, caulk seams, and stage products.

Responsibilities include following safety standards, handling pull sheets, stocking materials, inventory tasks, and maintaining organization. A HS diploma and ability to read a tape measure are required; manufacturing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to read, write, count and communicate by various channels.
• Manufacturing related experience preferred.
• Ability to read a tape measure.

• Obtain specifications for trailers from pull sheets.
• Procure raw materials from part racks and place in cart/racks.
• Stock raw material after processing and accounting.
• Assign locations to parts that do not have one.
• Maintain all parts up to date with the latest revision changes.
• Keep raw material area clean and organized.
• Assist with inventory control including cycle counting.
• Other duties as assigned by Dept. Leadership.

$1,500 Retention Bonus and 80 Hours of Paid Time Off after first 90 days of employment

JOB SUMMARY

Grind, Sand, and Deburr metal surfaces on trailer and components after they have been welded together. In addition, drill holes in trailer beds, caulk seams, and stage product.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Actively observe and promote BWise safety standards.
• Obtain specifications for trailer from pull sheets.
• Procure raw materials from part racks and place in cart/racks.
• Stock raw material after its been processed and accounted for.
• Assign locations to parts who do not have one.
• Maintain all parts up to date with the latest revision changes.
• Keep raw material area clean and organized.
• Assist with inventory control which includes cycle counting.
• Other duties, as assigned by Dept. Leadership.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
