Job summary

Knapheide Truck Equipment Centers in Acworth, GA is hiring a full-time Paint/Prep Technician to prepare work truck bodies and equipment surfaces for painting. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–2:30 PM, with overtime as needed.

The position involves surface prep, masking, and drilling tasks to ensure quality finishes on trucks and equipment. Candidates should be detail-focused, organized, and team-oriented to support customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to lift/move up to 75 pounds is expected.
• Experience prepping metal surfaces for painting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for paint per established standards.
• Fill and sand body imperfections as needed.
• Mask and protect vehicle surfaces.
• Pre-fit and drill bumpers, ladder racks and other holes as necessary.
