Job summary

McCLARIN Composites is seeking a Paint Prep associate to prepare products for painting and to repair minor imperfections. This is a 2nd shift position with a 10% shift differential.

Responsibilities include sanding exteriors, masking, correcting paint issues, and staging products for the next workstation, while maintaining a clean and safe work environment. HS Diploma/GED or equivalent industrial experience is preferred and English communication is required.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma/GED preferred or equivalent industrial experience.
• Ability to understand and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Sands product exterior in preparation of painting.
• Tapes/masks products for painting.
• Reworks products with nonconforming paint issues.
• May perform some simple repair/prep procedures such as putty work or touch up painting.
• Inspect finished work, completing any associated forms/checklists.
• Stages products for next workstation.
• Maintains a clean and safe work environment.
• Other tasks as assigned.
