Job summary

Hi-Vac Corporation in Marietta, OH is seeking a Painter's Assistant to support the Paint Department on the weekend shift. You will prep parts, operate the blasting booth, and inspect items for the manufacturing process while assisting the painters.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, with autobody or industrial painting experience considered a plus. Forklift skills are helpful, and a strong work ethic is valued for long-term growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Training in a Technical School or equivalent is preferred.
• autobody experience is a plus.
• Industrial painting experience is a plus.
• Forklift experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare equipment for painting and pre-inspect surfaces.
• Clean and maintain paint booth, conveyors, hoses, spray heads and nozzles.
• Dispose of paint waste and hazardous materials properly.
• Assist Painter and operate blasting booth to prepare parts.
• Possibly operate a forklift when needed.
