Altec Industries, Inc. in Duluth, MN is seeking a paint prep and production assistant to support assembly with surface prep, painting, and parts handling. You will load/unload components, use hand tools, and ensure quality checks while following safety policies.

Responsabilités

• Ensure proper surface preparation prior to painting, taping, and plugging.
• Load and unload parts/components to be painted.
• Use of hand tools to uninstall/install components and prepare components for painting.
• Perform rework and repair tasks.
• Perform filter maintenance.
• Label finished parts.
• Perform quality checks.
• Utilize proper safety techniques.
• Uses computer system to manage paint specifications.
• Support APS (Altec Production System) initiatives. May participate in continuous improvement events.
• Move to other work areas to support production needs (cross-train).
• Effectively assist and train new/current associates.
• Follow established safety, environmental and quality policies, procedures, and practices to include proper use and care of PPE.
• Maintain work area and shop tools/equipment.
• Shows commitment to Altec core values.
• Other job duties as assigned

Pay Transparency

Pay range:$22.17 - $23.62/hour with a $1.50 shift differential. We are committed to fair and competitive pay for all associates based on their experience, education, and qualifications.

Should the selected candidate meet the qualifications of a more experienced level in the career path, the job level may be adjusted.
