SEKISUI Aerospace is hiring production team members in a variety of departments for our Orange City, IA location, including layup, assembly, machining, and finishing.

Type: Full Time, Non-Exempt

Schedule: 1st Shift: 6:00 AM-3:30 PM Monday-Thursday, Friday 6:00 AM-10:00 AM

Position

As a paint operator you will be responsible for painting, sanding, cleaning, and preparing parts for painting.

Composite Technician Responsibilities

• Painting parts to customer specifications
• Cleaning and maintaining painting equipment and area
• Sanding, cleaning, and preparing parts for painting
• Masking of non‑painted surfaces
• Paint mixing
• Operating automated downdraft spray booth, paint application equipment, and fresh air systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of applying adhesives, fillers, and primers
• Familiar with mixing ratios
• Ability to use basic paint prep tools, including sanders
• Ability to comprehend and follow written specifications
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced work environment while maintaining a strong attention to detail
• Excellent hand dexterity and coordination
• Ability to maintain a clean & organized environment
• Effective oral and written communication skills
