Job summary

Manpower, Inc. in partnership with a manufacturing client in Nashville, IL is seeking a Paint Maintenance Technician for a unique 7 on / 7 off shift.

The role focuses on preventative maintenance of paint application equipment and ensuring continuous production at full capacity. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in industrial maintenance or PLC experience, strong problem-solving abilities, and the ability to read and interpret procedures, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic drawings.

Qualifications

• Two years' experience with paint equipment and/or mechanical equipment.
• One year continuous work experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend written procedures and mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic prints.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventative maintenance on paint application equipment to prevent downtime.
• Takes corrective action to maximize paint production capacity.
• Troubleshoots and repairs fluid delivery equipment and maintains paint application equipment (guns, valves, regulators, pumps).
• Requisitions parts and maintains inventory levels as needed.

As a Paint Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Paint Deptsupporting Maintenance efforts. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years with industrial maintenance, PLC experience and willingness to learnwhich will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Paint Maintenance Technician (Shift 7 on, 7 off)

Location: Nashville, IL

Pay Range: $80,000 to $85,000 depending on experience in addition to a signing bonus.

What’s the Job?

• Performs preventative maintenance on paint application equipment to prevent unscheduled downtime.
• Takes appropriate corrective action to keep paint production operating at its fullest capacity.
• Troubleshoots and repairs fluid delivery equipment as needed or required. Maintains and rebuilds paint application equipment (paint guns, valves, fluid regulators, pumps, etc.).
• Requisitions necessary parts and determines required inventory levels.

What’s Needed?

• Required - Two years' experience working with paint equipment and/or mechanical equipment.
• Required - One-year continuous work experience.
• Must have good problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to read and comprehend written procedures as well as mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic prints.
• Must work well with others.
• Must have good communication skills – both verbal and written.
