Main Roles and Responsibilities of the Position:
- Perform mechanical and electrical failure diagnosis and repairs on advanced industrial equipment.
- Work with equipment types including pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, robotic (Fanuc, ABB), variable frequency and DC drives, programmable logic controllers (Siemens, Allen Bradley), and computer-controlled systems.
- Perform preventative and predictive maintenance to ensure equipment readiness at all times.
- Communicate effectively with co-workers and management, passing critical information for production readiness.
- Respond promptly to trouble calls to minimize downtime.
- Identify root causes of failures to prevent recurrence.
- Continuously seek and implement improvements to equipment reliability.
- Perform robotic electrical troubleshooting.
- Troubleshoot electrical and automation systems.
- Welding and mechanical skills are a plus.
- Work effectively in a team environment.
Education and Experience Required:
- Knowledge of industrial building maintenance methods and principles.
- Understanding of carpentry, plumbing, painting, and electrical work principles.
- Familiarity with heating, ventilation, and cooling systems.
- Experience with locksmithing and building security systems.
- Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety practices.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Experience in working with and supervising contractors.
