Mazda Toyota Manufacturing USA is seeking a Group Leader for Paint Maintenance on the Weekend Shift (3x12). You will drive performance on the paint line, manage a high-performing team and coordinate with Mazda and Toyota advisors to meet KPI targets.

The role emphasizes safety, continuous improvement, and team development within a state-of-the-art Huntsville facility. Shifts may require holidays and travel as needed.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience in automotive manufacturing (paint experience preferred).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).

Responsabilidades

• Establish strong team member relations and provide coaching and mentoring with a focus on teamwork and inclusion.
• Work closely with advisors from Mazda and Toyota.
• Create improvement strategies related to KPI achievement and translate them into concrete action plans using Floor Management Systems.
• Lead safety initiatives and support Kaizen activities.
• Ensure alignment of activities to support the business plan.
• Support preventative and predictive maintenance systems and ensure compliance and effectiveness.
• Support new equipment introduction.
• Create and manage team member development plans.
• Spare parts setup and management.
• Support long-term maintenance reliability and efficiency strategy.
• Support reliability Kaizen including major breakdown root cause analysis and KPI/SSR action plans.
• Lead activities to improve operational efficiency and reduce MTTR/MTBF.
• Manage maintenance standardization activities and best practices.
• Lead evaluation and maintenance cost reduction activities.
• Troubleshoot and solve problems to eliminate chronic line stop issues.
• Foster a workforce diverse and inclusive in line with company initiatives.
