Job summary

Magna Exteriors is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead the paint maintenance team across our manufacturing facilities. You will drive safety, ownership, and continuous improvement while overseeing maintenance of paint equipment, robots, and related systems.

The role requires 3+ years in manufacturing maintenance, 2+ years in supervisory roles, and a strong background in facilities and equipment procurement or maintenance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field).
• Minimum of 3 years of technical maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• At least 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience.
• 5+ years of engineering experience with facilities/maintenance preferred.
• Strong leadership and ability to develop maintenance teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the paint maintenance team, fostering a safety‑first culture and continuous improvement.
• Schedule and coordinate work across maintenance groups to balance workload and complete projects.
• Conduct performance reviews, set goals, and train maintenance staff.
• Oversee maintenance and repair of paint equipment, including robots, spray booths, conveyors, and related systems.
• Develop preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
• Monitor equipment performance data to identify trends and implement improvements.
• Support facilities projects: building additions, equipment upgrades, renovations, ensuring safety and quality.
• Prepare specifications, evaluate vendors, and select contractors or suppliers.
• Lead or assist in vendor/contractor selection and project execution within scope, schedule, and budget.
• Lead or support capital projects related to paint equipment and plant facilities.
• Manage work order processes using Maximo and similar systems.
• Develop long-term maintenance plans and PM schedules.
• Lead root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
