Job description

Position Title: Paint Line Worker



Wage: $20.00/hour



Shift: 1st



Hours: 5:00am - 3:30pm



QPS has a contract to hire Paint Line Production position in the Kansas City, Kansas location. Must have previous industrial painting experience in the warehouse field. Please contact our office to get more info on this career opportunity.



Paint Line Worker Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Use hand and power tools (impact gun) to remove valves on the tanks and reinstall valves

- Complete paperwork for each tank

- Use stamping tools when necessary

- Clean, sand, and prepare oxygen cylinders for painting, ensuring surfaces are free of rust, grease, and contaminants

- Apply primer and topcoats using spray guns, brushes, or rollers, following safety guidelines and industry standards

- Inspect finished products for consistency in coating thickness and overall appearance, adjusting as necessary

- Maintain and clean painting equipment, including spray guns and hoses, to ensure optimal performance

- Follow all safety procedures and protocols, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)

- Work closely with team members to meet production deadlines and maintain a smooth workflow

- Assist in tracking and managing paint supplies and materials



Paint Line Worker Requirements:

- Previous experience working in a paint department

- Able to speak, read, and write fluent English due to the extreme paperwork involved

- Driver's license with reliable transportation

- Knowledge of hand and power tools
