Job summary

Hendrickson in Mount Vernon, MO is seeking a Paint Line Operator to operate paint lines, inspect parts, and ensure production standards. The role requires reading blueprints, using hand tools, and maintaining safety practices in a high-tempo manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include performing TPM, data collection, 5S housekeeping, and stopping the line for safety or quality concerns. Familiarity with inspection tools and forklift operations is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read blueprints.
• Must have good understanding of inventory control.
• Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Must have or be able to obtain a fork truck license.
• Must recognize the importance of working in a safe manner.
• Ability to understand what constitutes quality products.
• Possess basic math skills.
• Average or above average skills in numeric and visual recall.
• Must be computer literate.
• Must be able to obtain PAPR certification.
• Must be clean shaven.

Responsibilities

• Operate paint lines to meet production standards.
• Use basic inspection equipment to ensure quality.
• Perform daily TPM.
• Stop the line authority at any sign of safety or quality concerns.
• Perform duties per work instructions/standard work.
• Complete daily data collection as established.
• Perform daily 5S activities.
• Read and follow blueprints and process specifications.
