Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking an experienced Paint Technician to operate and monitor automotive paint lines, including robotic systems, to meet production and quality standards. You will inspect spray patterns and coverage in wet-layer booths, perform routine maintenance on paint equipment, and support safety and 5S practices on the line.

Applicants should have a high school diploma and 2 years manufacturing and paint application experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to lift 20 lbs

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years manufacturing experience preferred.
• 2 years paint application experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders.
• Ability to lift 20 lbs.
• Electrical or mechanical background in industrial automated systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor paint line and equipment including robots.
• Inspect spray patterns and paint quality using wet-layer inspection booths.
• Maintain process parameters to meet production and quality standards.
• Perform preventive maintenance on robots, guns, atomizers, and jigs.
• Relieve teammates during breaks and balance workloads.
• Follow safety procedures and 5S on the line.
