Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a skilled maintenance technician for its paint line in Gaffney, SC. The role requires experience with paint equipment, maintenance, and strong teamwork to keep lines running smoothly.

You will work Monday–Friday, 7am–3pm, with benefits starting day one and on-demand pay options. This full-time position emphasizes safety and process efficiency in a non-temperature-controlled environment.

Qualifications

• LOTO and forklift training required.
• Minimum of 3 years of paint line/equipment experience.
• Able to perform duties across all paint area positions.
• Strong knowledge of paint equipment and processes.
• Hands-on maintenance skills with tools.
• Good interpersonal relations and teamwork.
• Knowledge of parts and rebuild procedures on paint equipment.
• Able to work in non-temperature-controlled manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots equipment and optimizes paint spray patterns and efficiency.
• Ensures first-piece start-up quality and stabilizes paint process.
• Sets up and runs secondary equipment and maintains cleanliness.
• Maintains 5S zone and leads weekly 5S meetings.
• Provides guidance on machine maintenance and issue resolution.
• Performs preventive maintenance on paint equipment.
• Backups for multiple paint line positions as needed.
