Job summary

Metalcraft of Mayville, Inc. seeks an assembler for the paint line to produce components by assembling parts and subassemblies for OEM and SCAG products. You will load/unload parts, assist with desk assembly, and ensure quality by inspecting coated parts and recording documentation.

The role requires teamwork, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to follow blueprints and instructions. First shift availability and on-site work are required in Wisconsin.

Qualifications

• Prior paint experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Ability to work in a team and coordinate with other departments

• Good finger and hand dexterity
• Experience in highly technical environments with light electrical or heavy equipment assembly

Responsibilities

• Verify job order and material selections; report shortages.
• Tape, mask, and hang parts for coating; use correct hangers.
• Inspect coated parts for coating thickness with gauges.
• Keep paint hooks clean and area organized; document production and quality logs.
• Assemble components by reading instructions and blueprints; verify fit.
• Resolve assembly issues by adjusting dimensions and informing supervisor.
• Operate equipment and perform tasks per safety standards.
• Follow all company rules and policies.
