Job summary

G3 Industries in Kronenwetter, WI is hiring for a full-time manual labor position on the 3-Day Weekend Shift (Friday through Sunday, 12 hours per day). You will be paid for 40 hours while working 36, with voluntary overtime after 36 hours available.

Responsibilities include machining, assembling, loading and unloading, preparing products for painting, and performing basic quality checks while keeping the work area clean and safe.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 25lbs continuously.
• Must be able to stand for 12 hours a day.
• Must be self-motivated.
• Basic computer skills and knowledge helpful.

Responsibilities

• Machining, assembling, handling products, equipment and materials per Method of Manufacturing and the Quality Procedures.
• Load, unload, hang, and remove parts or materials from conveyor systems and paint line racks.
• Prepare products for painting by inspecting, cleaning, masking, or staging materials as required.
• Perform visual quality inspections before, during, and after the painting process to ensure products meet customer and company standards.
• Identify and report defects, equipment issues, or safety concerns to supervisors.
• Assist with changeovers, color changes, and basic equipment adjustments as needed.
• Package, label, and prepare finished products for storage or shipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S and housekeeping standards.
• Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and environmental regulations.
• Must run production according to schedules, unless instructed otherwise.
• Must perform Quality Checks with gauges and visual inspection during production.
• Demonstrate ability to safely operate various machines.
• Must read Travelers / Job routings.
• Report labor, rework, and scrap in ERP.
• Ability to perform repetitious tasks with changes in job assignment as needed.
• Work on rapid improvement projects to improve departmental metrics and reduce costs.
• Other tasks as needed.
