Job Details

Position: 2nd Shift Paint Line Operator/Loader

Schedule: 2:45pm-10:45pm, Monday-Friday. Overtime: 2:45pm-12:45am, potential Saturdays.

Training: 1st shift - 4:45am-12:45pm

Responsibilities

• Ensure correct parts are on hand according to production schedule.
• Maintain inventory of paint and chemicals, and operate powered industrial trucks.
• Program and set up paint booths, monitor painting process, and troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Perform manual painting for small quantities or special products.
• Clean and maintain paint area and equipment, perform preventive maintenance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8th-grade education.
• Preferably 2+ years of paint experience and knowledge of environmental impacts on painting.
• Ability to obtain and maintain powered industrial truck certification.

Physical & Environmental Demands

• Work around large machinery, potential for minor injuries.
• Exposure to dust, noise, solvents, heat, and chemicals.
• Lift up to 50 pounds, standing for long periods, repetitive arm movements.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with electronic production systems and measurement gauges.
• Ability to troubleshoot and adjust equipment.
