Job Overview

We are currently looking for a 2nd Shift Production Coordinator 2 to join our team in Holland.

Schedule: 2:00pm-10:00pm, Monday-Friday. OT from 2:00pm-12:00am, Monday-Friday and potential Saturdays from 2:00pm-10:00pm.

Communicates and liaises with other departments; investigates and follows up on open customer demands and works with planning team on new orders to be entered.

Major Responsibilities
  • Check on OTCS (On Time Complete Shipment) parts from other plants, follow up with team leaders to expedite parts and escalate outstanding issues to supervision.
  • Using technology tools, ensure Drop Zone is clear. Escalate billing and Bill of Materials information in electronic production system as necessary, create labels and forward materials to proper shipping dock. Notify incoming shift of remaining issues requiring follow-up.
  • Check Pick and Pack Monitor for Unload; research missing parts.
  • Complete available pick and pack orders and ship to the appropriate dock with appropriate signage.
  • Contact team leaders and PCs of respective work centers for updates on shortages for pick and pack parts.
  • Monitor electronic production system for past due orders, follow up with appropriate team leaders on shortages and when they can be expected.
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects.
Qualifications

EDUCATION

  • 8th grade

WORK REQUIREMENTS & EXPERIENCE

  • Powered industrial truck certification recommended.
  • Knowledge of Haworth and different products, plants, and parts.

ENVIRONMENTAL & PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Large machinery and equipment used in work areas. Possibility of cuts, scrapes, or bruises.
  • Moderate exposure to dust, noise, solvent, heat, paint, and lubricants.
  • Constant mental and visual alertness required to avoid potential serious injury.
  • Moves and may lift materials and/or products weighing up to 50 pounds, occasionally more (assistance given with heavier objects).
  • Standing required for extended periods.
  • May be required to climb stairs and ladders.
