Job summary

Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope is seeking a Material Handler for the Paint Department. You will load material onto the paint line, identify defects, and support quality control while maintaining a safe, efficient workflow.

Ideal candidates are detail-oriented team players able to read simple prints, perform basic math, and follow instructions. This role involves lifting, bending, and standing for long periods in an industrial environment.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail and quality control.
• Ability to read simple prints or die drawings.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations.
• Able to follow verbal and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Push buggies of material from the pretreatment line.
• Identify defective material and scrap it after proper tagging.
• Inspect metal for quality, order number, counts, and color.
• Load metal onto the paint line based on exposure and hanger placement.
• Unload painted metal and transport to the proper staging area.
