Job summary

Selux Corporation in the Hudson Valley is seeking a Paint Line Associate to prepare materials for the painting process by hanging, positioning, and removing parts from the production line. This entry-level role involves repetitive physical tasks, material handling, and maintaining an organized and safe work environment.

Responsibilities include visual inspection of materials before coating, cleaning paint lines and guns, and preparing parts for paint.

Qualifications

Overview

The Paint Line Associate is responsible for preparing materials for the painting process by

hanging, positioning, and removing parts from the production line.

This entry-level position involves repetitive physical tasks, material handling, and

maintaining an organized and safe work environment.

Compensation: $18-19/hr

Responsibilities

• Performs visual inspection of all materials prior to coating
• Cleans paint lines, guns, and preventative maintenance.
• Prepares parts for paint and hangs and remove parts as needed.
• Report problems with quality, process, equipment and materials to supervisor
• Comply with policies, guidelines and regulatory requirements
• Must work within the confines of Selux’s PPE and Safety Policy, which includes, Safety Glasses, gloves and respirators as needed.

Qualifications

Job Knowledge and Skills:

• 1-2 years of industrial coating system preferred in a manufacturing environment
• Experience and knowledge of Gema equipment especially valuable.Must be able to focus closely on details (attention to detail is critical)
• Must have the ability to take direction and work well with others.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to stand, walk stoop, bend, and lift overhead.
• Ability to move/lift up to 75lbs
• Frequently required to use hands to handle objects
• Ability to work in a hot environment.
• Specific vision requirements include close vision.
