Job summary

Selux US is seeking an Assembly Technician to assemble components of light fixtures under lean manufacturing principles. You will follow standardized procedures, support continuous improvement, and ensure quality while collaborating with your team.

This role requires hands-on use of hand tools and power tools, adherence to safety, and accurate ERP transactions. A high school diploma and ability to read English procedures are required; training will be provided for on-the-job competencies.

Qualifications

Overview

Under the direction of the Water Spider/Production Manager/Supervisor, the Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling components of light fixtures efficiently while adhering to lean manufacturing principles. Key responsibilities include performing assembly tasks according to standardized procedures, continuously seeking process improvements, ensuring quality control, collaborating with team members, and maintaining accurate documentation.

Compensation: $18-19/hr

Responsibilities

• Employ lean manufacturing concepts to support continuous improvement and waste elimination.
• Utilizes manufacturing knowledge to improve process operations and affect positive change.
• Perform assembly tasks following standardized work instructions and procedures while meeting production standard times to ensure continuous work flow.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and machinery to assemble components accurately and efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and guidelines during assembly processes.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure smooth assembly operations.
• Communicate openly and proactively to address any challenges or issues that may arise during the assembly process.
• Performs ERP transactions accurately to company policies and procedures.
• Provide hands on job function training to coworkers as needed.
• Maintains a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions.
