Job summary

Belcan is seeking an entry-level Lab Technician to support paint manufacturing through routine laboratory operations and measurements. You will perform qualitative and quantitative chemical analyses according to established procedures and assist senior technicians in preparing equipment and recording experiment data.

Responsibilities include routine instrument checks, data collection, and following safety programs. A chemistry or science background is preferred but not required for this role.

Qualifications

• Under direct supervision, performs a variety of routine laboratory operations to support paint manufacturing.
• Duties include measurements and routine qualitative and quantitative chemical analytical tests according to standard procedures.
• Assists higher level technicians in setup of laboratory equipment and recording data for experiments and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and safety program checks on instruments.
• Maintains knowledge of using various instruments to prepare for and perform tests.
• This is an entry-level position; chemistry or science background preferred, not required.
