Job summary

Valence Surface Technologies is seeking a quality inspector to perform in-process and final inspections on aircraft parts, read planning docs, and document precise inspection records. You will calibrate tools, interface with various departments, and assist operators in understanding quality specifications.

The role involves initiating nonconformance reports and may require internal audits for continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process, first article, receiving and final inspections on aircraft parts and processes.
• Read and interpret information from planning documents, tool design, blue prints, specifications and quality inspection procedures to develop clear, complete and precise records of inspection.
• Calibrate inspection tools and equipment prior to using.
• Interface with other individuals from various departments on issues related to quality.
• Provide and assist operators in understanding and interpreting quality specifications and procedures.
• Initiate and prepare nonconformance reports and provide to QA administrators.
• Conduct internal audits as required.
• Suggests new and improved methods for continuous improvement of the quality management system.

Pay Range $19.00-$20.00 per hour

This position requires access to knowledge and technical data regulated by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Valence Surface Technologies is required to verify that applicants meet ITAR requirements prior to employment for this role.
