1. Summary
The Quality Inspector examines aircraft parts and manufacturing operations for conformity to established quality requirements. The Quality Inspector inspects raw materials, details, assemblies, and processes for conformance with technical specifications. Inspections are conducted visually and by using instruments such as scales, gauges, templates, calipers, micrometers, and laser scanners. The Quality Inspector prepares reports on findings, documenting specifics of non-conformances working closely with Production and Engineering staff.
