Ideal candidates have 2 years of technical education or equivalent experience, and are proficient in Digital Engineering and robotic paint systems. Travel across US, Mexico, and Canada is possible.

Responsibilities

• Support Paint DE group to develop reach studies and cycle time analysis for primer, base, clear and interior robot processes.
• Lead meetings with related groups, document creation, and support plants in the process.
• Travel to US, Mexico and Canada as needed; report to the Digital Engineering Manager.
• Work with minimal direction and previous experience is a must.

Magnit Direct Sourcing on behalf of Toyota is currently hiring a Paint Digital Engineer for a temporary assignment in Georgetown, Kentucky. This is a 36-month contract. The pay range for this role is between $35.00 - $40.00/Hr. Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K.

Job Description

• This person will be creating offline robot programs for download in a robotic production process. Coordinate with Regional Paint Engineer study, conduct the trial, evaluate based on safety, quality, productivity, and cost.
• Supporting Paint DE group to develop reach studies and cycle time analysis for sealer, UBC, and dampening coat robot processes. Or
• Supporting Paint DE group to develop reach studies and cycle time analysis for primer, base, clear and interior robot processes.
• This includes leading all meetings with related groups, document creation, and supporting the plants in the process.
• Position will include travel to US, Mexico and Canada pending covid restrictions to support projects. Position will report to the Digital Engineering Manager.
• Must be able to work with minimal direction and previous experience is a must.
