Job summary

Sherwin-Williams is hiring a Delivery Driver at Store #2610 in Fairhope, AL. You will deliver products to customers using company vans or pickups, load orders, and ensure accurate and safe delivery while delivering excellent customer service.

Requirements include a valid driver's license, ability to lift up to 50 lbs (70 lbs occasionally), and willingness to work evenings and weekends. Prior retail or customer service experience is preferred, with familiarity with material handling equipment

Qualifications

Must be at least 21 years old.
Authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship now or in the future.
Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver’s License.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion.
Willing to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

Prepare deliveries to meet customer requirements efficiently.
Load customer orders properly on the truck.
Complete appropriate forms.
Transport and deliver items safely and timely to customers.
Maintain the store vehicle and report repairs as needed.
Provide excellent customer service and handle complaints.
Adhere to routes and time schedules.
Abide by transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record.
Prepare reports and other documents relating to deliveries.
Operate vehicles and equipment such as cars, trucks, forklifts.
Assist in store tasks including warehouse duties, tinting, and mixing customer orders.
