Job summary

Sherwin-Williams is seeking a Customer Service Specialist for our Sioux City, IA stores. You will assist customers, determine needs, and recommend the right paint products and services.

You will resolve concerns, help achieve monthly sales goals, and maintain product displays and stock while ensuring high store standards. Responsibilities include processing sales, tinting and mixing, stocking shelves, and delivering basic customer service in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver’s License.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs on occasion.
• Willing to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Internal Sherwin-Williams employee: must have a 'meets expectations' rating on the latest performance appraisal.
• Internal Sherwin-Williams employee: must have completed all HR Cloud eLearning courses required for current position.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
• Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting appropriate products and services.
• Build productive trust relationships with wholesale and retail customers.
• Process sales transactions accurately and consistently with policies and procedures.
• Follow and achieve sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
• Maintain precise work order files and formulas.
• Pull appropriate products from the sales floor or warehouse.
• Tint and mix products to customer specifications.
• Stock shelves and set up displays.
• Clean store equipment.
• Load/unload delivery trucks.
• Assist in making deliveries, as needed.
• Maintain in-stock and presentable condition in assigned areas.
