Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company stores throughout Ocean Isle Beach, NC are seeking a part-time Store Associate for Store #2320 at 6855 Beach Drive, SW #1. You will assist customers, answer questions about products, and promote suitable solutions while maintaining store standards.

Responsibilities include processing transactions, stocking shelves, tinting/mixing products, and supporting deliveries. A valid driver's license and ability to lift up to 70 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally.
• Willing to work evenings and weekends.
• Internal to Sherwin-Williams, must have at least a "meets expectations" rating.
• Internal HR Cloud eLearning courses must be completed for current position.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
• Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting appropriate products and services.
• Process sales transactions accurately and consistently with policies.
• Stock shelves and set up displays.
• Tint and mix products, as needed, to customer specifications.
• Load/unload delivery trucks and assist in deliveries as needed.
• Maintain in-stock and presentable condition in assigned areas.
• Remain knowledgeable on products and discuss available options.
• Comply with inventory control procedures.
• Suggest ways to improve sales.
